Stanyuta won three bronze medals at the World Championship in Rhythmic GymnasticsMelitina Stanyuta won three bronze medals at the World Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Kiev in exercises with the ball, ribbon and all-around.

 

Stanyuta opened the final of exercises with the ball. The judges put her pretty high mark despite the fact that she performed the first - 18.166 points. Only two of the eight finalists managed to get ahead of Stanyuta. Margarita Mamun from Russia with 18,516 points became the world champion. The silver medal was won by Yana Kudryavtseva (18,350 points). Another Belarusian Ekaterina Galkina took the 8th place with 16,500 points.


Melitina also won the bronze medal in exercises with the ribbon. Yana Kudryavtseva got the gold and Anna Rizatdinova from Ukraine became the second.


Finally on August, 30 Stanyuta won the third medal in all-around. The gold went to Yana Kudryavtseva and the silver to Anna Rizatdinova.
