Domracheva Clinched Silver in Swedish Östersund
The biathlonist Darya Domracheva won her first medal in the current season.

In an Individual race at the World Cup event taking place in Östersund, Sweden, the Belarusian finished second after Norwegian biathlon competitor Tore Berger.

Darya missed at the very first firing line, and the rest of race she had been competing with Tore Berger performing perfect shooting.

At every lap Domracheva was winning back at the average 15 seconds, and by the forth firing line the Belarusian compensated a minute lag due to her phenomenal speed.

However, the Norwegian demonstrated iron self-control and closed all five shooting marks, while Darya missed for the second time.

At the final lap Domracheva slowed down and reached the finish second with the lag of 1 minute 3 seconds.

It is worth noting that no other rivals had chance to take up the struggle against Domracheva. First, the Belarusian was too fast, and second, four athletes who showed excellent results in shooting (besides Tore Berger) failed to succeed on the ski track. Russian Ekaterina Glazyrina appeared to be the best among them. She took the third place dropping behind Darya for over a minute.
