Domracheva ascended the podium of the World Cup in Oberhof three times in a row
Belarusian biathlete Darya Domracheva won two races and got the third place in the mass start in Oberhof, Germany at the fourth stage of the Biathlon World Cup.
Darya Domracheva returned in World Cup with a comfortable win in the sprint race. The leader of the Belarusian team shot well in foggy weather and missed only a final shot at the second shooting. Kaisa Makaraynen got the second place and lost 29.8 seconds
Domracheva also got the first place in the pursuit race with 3 misses (0+2+1+0). Makaraynen who was the main Dasha’s rival won also the second place.
In the last race Domracheva got the third place. She led after the second shooting but 2 misses in the standing position gave her only the third place.
Domracheva rose immediately in the overall World Cup standings to 16 lines and occupies the fourth place. And her backlog from leading Gabriela Soukalova decreased from 118 to 22 points. The struggle for the overall World Cup is still ahead.
