Marina Linchuk starred for China VogueFamous Belarusian supermodel Maryna Linchuk starred in a new image for the August issue of China Vogue.


According to Vogue Marina Linchuk is one of the main models of Slavic origin. She was born in 1987 in Minsk. She says she never wanted to be a model – when she was a child she dreamed to be a doctor or a lawyer. She entered model business when her friend persuaded her to go to casting in modeling school. Marina was accepted and her friend - no. At first she worked in a Minsk but then she decided to move to Moscow.


There she was advised to go to the agency IQ Models. She started to get the first offers. Her first show was NinaDonis which she remembers to this day. The head of the agency sent her to work in Japan. In Tokyo she quickly mastered, spoke Japanese and took the first steps to become a supermodel.


Marina moved from Japan to New York. There an important event of her career happened - photo shoot with Steven Meisel. This photo shoot paid public attention to her. She began receiving offers from Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Donna Karan, Kenneth Cole, Escada, MaxMara and Gap.


Marina appeared on the covers of Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Russian Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Numero, and Glamour. In 2008 she became the face of Moon Sparkle fragrance from Escada and in 2009 - Miss Dior Cherie by Dior. Promotional video of the last was directed by Sofia Coppola.


Marina appeared on the catwalk at shows Givenchy, Gucci, Michael Kors, Alexander McQueen, Paul Smith, Versace, Chanel, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren, John Galliano and Roberto Cavalli. Three times she played the role of Victoria's Secret "angel".


French Vogue named her one of the top 30 models of the 2000th.
