Today 5,000 Belarusian rubles at the exchange rate of the National Bank of Belarus are equal to $ 0.47.

"The condition is scruffy. In the center is a pinhole (scuffed). There are small rips on the edges" - described the item a seller.

The banknote was put up for auction on September, 26. The value of the banknote is in its rare lettered series "AГ". As the collectors of paper money say in the comments, for 14 years this is the first banknote identified with this series.

For 18 days the price for the lot increased by more than a thousand times: from 1 to 1450 dollars. It is still 9 days until the end of the auction, but the banknote is already called the most expensive in Belarus. Bids were made ​​by 11 people.
