Victoria Azarenka has won the Qatar Open in Doha (prize – 2,369 mln $) twice in a raw.

The Belarusian beat American Serena Williams in the final with score 7-6 (8-6), 2-6, 6-3. The match lasted two hours and 28 minutes.
On her way to the Doha title Victoria Azarenka won Switzerland’s Romina Oprandi (World №62) 6-2, 6-3, American Christina McHale (World №44) 6-0, 6-0, Italian Sara Errani (World №7) 6-2, 6-2, and Poland’s Agnieshka Radwanska (World №4) 6-3, 6-3.
Last year Victoria Azarenka won Samantha Stosur of Australia 6-1, 6-2 in the Qatar Open's final. The Belarusian took the Australia Open title this year. Victoria Azarenka has won 16 WTA tournaments since she started her career in 2005.
Despite her victory in Doha, Victoria Azarenka lost her first position at the WTA rating due to Serena Williams who officially replaced her as world number one on February, 18. Victoria Azarenka was on top of the WTA rating for 52 weeks.
