Belarusian Melita Stanyuta won a bronze medal at the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Сhampionship

On September, 23 the first sets of awards were contested at the World Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Izmir (Turkey). One of the medals is in the asset of the Belarusian grace Melita Stanyuta.

The leader of the Belarusian team won the bronze in the exercises with the ball, gained 18,000 points. The Russians were the best in this type - the title of world champions shared Yana Kudryavtseva and Margarita Mamun, who had absolutely the same amount of points - 18,433. Another Belarusian Katsiaryna Halkina showed the 6th result in the final - 17,450 points.

Yana Kudryavtseva and Margarita Mamun also were the first in exercises with a hoop – the gold went to Kudryavtseva (18,816 points), and Mamun got the silver (18,450). The representative of the Republic of Korea Chzhey Son became a bronze medalist (17,966). Belarusian gymnasts didn’t take part in the final in this type of competitive programs.

The 33th World Rhythmic Gymnastics Сhampionship will end on Sunday, September, 28.
