In the story, John McClane is forced to come to the Russian capital city, because his impulsive son was jailed there. The hero of Bruce Willis will fight with the Russian mafia. The events of the film take place in the Russian capital, covered by a wave of demonstrations and protests. The "Die Hard" will not only fight with Russian mafia but also he will test the strength of OMON.

"We met Bruce Willis on the film set several times. He was a very private and modest man. The actor does not like to show off and be photographed. We managed to get acquainted with Russian actress Julia Snigir. She plays a major role"- says the head of aviation of the Ministry of emergences of Belarus Oleg Yakovlev.

The fifth part of the "Die Hard" was created in Hungary. It took six hours to fly there and 12 our rescuers arrived in an abandoned military base near Budapest. The filmmakers concreted huge playground for the filming.

"First, we had to repaint our helicopter. The expert from England was called for it. We bought the local paint and tried to paint a small area, but it spoiled the "native" color. So they brought British paint and made in two days a combat helicopter with a red star. From his "normal life" there was only the board number left, "- says Oleg Yakovlev.

The problem that had to be done was decided in theory on a huge layout at first. John Moore (the Director) and the Belarusian pilots agreed that technique should look impressive and at the same time the risk should be minimal.

The episode with the Belarusian crew was filmed at night. According to the plot the helicopter had to land at the twilight. The filming began at 7 pm and ended close to 5 am. But there were too much spotlights that it was as bright as in a day.

"I was impressed by the organization. The team of over 200 people worked on the film and each of them had a job. Every detail was counted. The filming was even made with a small helicopter which was rented in Hungary, but the equipment and operator were from Hollywood "- says Oleg Yakovlev.
The trip to Hungary of Belarusian rescuers lasted 20 days. They were filmed in a small episode in the film, but the memories of the filming will last a lifetime.

All the money earned by Ministry of Emergencies of Belarus in this project will be used to update and overhaul of military vehicles, especially helicopters.
