Belarus presents the tourism opportunities in the largest tourism exhibition World Travel Market (WTM), which opens today in London.

At the national stand several subjects of tourist industry of Belarus will be presented. The coordinator of the stand at WTM is the National Tourism Agency. As it was explained by the deputy director of the NTA Sviatlana Haurylava, during the exhibition the information and tourist center "Minsk" will present the sights of the capital.

National Tourism Agency will focus on the promotion of cultural, educational, sports and medical tourism. According to Sviatlana Haurylava, recently foreign tourists are particularly interested in the Belarusian national parks, so the WTM will present routes in the Białowieża Forest, National Park Prypyac, Biarezina Biosphere Reserve.

In addition, the exhibition will present a calendar of tourist events for 2015. Also tour guides and maps of areas of Belarus will be offered.

WTM is the largest event in the field of image-world tourism. Every year, the exhibition attracts more than 50 thousand professionals. The exhibition brings together about 5 thousand exhibiting companies representing nearly 200 countries. The exposition will be held in the venue ExCeL London.

It is planned that in 2015 the national stand of Belarus will be presented at international tourism exhibitions EMITT (Istanbul) in January, IMTM (Tel Aviv) - in February, ITB (Berlin) and Intourmarket (Moscow) - in March, IFTM Top Resa (Paris) - in September, WTM (London) - in November. Also consider the possibility of organizing the participation on a commercial basis or with the involvement of local budgets Belarusian stand in exhibitions MITT (Moscow), Adventur (Vilnius), Tour & Travel Warsaw (Warszawa), BALTTOUR (Riga).
