Handball Club Dinamo-Minsk has successfully passed the qualifying round of the EHF Champions League.

”Tatran“ (Slovakia), ”Besiktas“ (Turkey), ”AEK“ (Greece) and Dinamo-Minsk fought for a ticket to the group stage of the tournament in Presov (Slovakia). Dinamo met with AEK in the semifinal on August, 31. In the second half of the game AEK led 17:13 but Dinamo was able to win with the score 25:21. Dmitry Nikulenkov was the best scorer in Dinamo squad with 6 goals.

In the final Dinamo played with the hosts of the qualification. It was an equal game long time. Only in the last ten minutes Dynamo made a comfortable lead of 6 points. The final score was 29:27 and Dinamo will play in the EHF Champions League.

Belarusian club will play against ”Barcelona“ (Spain), ”Paris Saint-Germain“ (France), ”Wacker“ (Switzerland), ”Vardar“ and ”Metallurg“ from Macedonia in the group stage of the tournament.

It is announced that Dinamo will play against Barcelona in Minsk-Arena on November, 14. Dinamo will play home games against other opponents in the Palace of Sport.
