Handball Club Dinamo-Minsk burst into play-off of the EHF Champions League

There were no doubts that Dinamo-Minsk would be in the 1/8 final of the EHF Champions League according to their results at the end of last year's segment of the group round tournament.Formally Minsk's team needs to get a point in order to guarantee one of four trips to the play-off.

Dynamo-Minsk didn't play on February, 7. But it was held the game between their opponents Swiss "Schaffhausen“ and Hungarian " Pick Szeged“. The win of the first team left no even theoretical chance to the Hungarian team to reach "Dynamo-Minsk". It means that Minsk's club guaranteed a pass to the next stage of the tournament.

However, Dinamo-Minsk has no time to relax. It is important to fight for the second place in the group, which, in theory, can give a more passable opponent in 1/8 finals.

The next match in Zagreb Dynamo-Minsk won on February, 9 with the result 25-23. Belarusian club will also have a guest game with ”Pick Szeged“ (Hungary) and a home game with "Barcelona" (Spain).
