Belarusians have won 4 medals at the Canoe Sprint European Championship

Belarusian men's canoe team won the final race at the K-4 1000 m at the Canoe Sprint European Championship which took place in Montemor-o-Velho (Portugal).
Dmitry Ryabchenko, Dennis Garazha, Dmitry Voytishkin and Alexander Volchetsky became the European champions in this discipline. Their final time at the finish line was 3 min. 23.773 sec. Silver medal went to the crew from Romania - 3 min. 24,498 sec., the Ukrainian canoeists got bronze medal - 3 min. 24,628.
Women's team from Belarus (Alexandra Grishina, Olga Khudenko, Nadezda Popok, Margarita Tsishkevich) took the third place in the final race at K-4 500 meters with the result 1 min. 32.524 sec. The team from Hungary won this race - 1 min. 31.114 sec.
Denis Garazha became the second at K-1 500m with the result 1 min. 51.763 sec. Czechia’s Martin Fuksa won this race.
Dmitry Ryabchenko and Alexander Volchetsky won silver medal at K-2 200m. Their result was 37,784 sec. Gold medal went to Russia.
