Belarus women's basketball team won the UK team with the score 71:61 (15:15, 19:13, 9:18, 28:15) and guaranteed a place in the quarter-final of the European Championship before the last tour of the second group stage.
Belarusians started the game poorly, they lost at the start – 2:8, but then they got initiative and dictated the course before the end of the first half which ended with a score 34:28.
The wards of Rimantas Grigas failed the third quarter - 9:18, but in the final 10 minutes Belarusians could still confirm their favorite status and won the game - 71:61.
The most productive in the national team of Belarus was Catherine Snytina who scored 15 points. Elena Levchenko made 13 rebounds and Anastasia Veremeyenko made three assists.
