Nadezhda Skardino set a world recordBelarusian biathlete Nadezhda Skardino got the second place in the pursuit race at the 6th stage of the Biathlon World Cup in Antholz and set a world record.


She passed the distance in 10 km with four shootings without misses. German Andrea Henkel was the first and Norwegian Tora Berger became the third.


Scardino set a world record – she shot without misses in 17 shootings  in a row (85 shots in a row without misses).


Never before in biathlon nobody had such a long series. And her series continues. Full shooting statistics has been kept since January 1998. 

The leader of the Belarusian team Domracheva was the first after two shootings but then she made four misses and became only the fifth.


Darya Domracheva was the third in sprint.


After this race the leader of the overall World Cup changed: Tora Berger got the first place with 461 points, Domracheva remained on the second position (455 points). Nadezhda Skardino (220 points) got 24th place.
