Three-time champion of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi in biathlon Darya Domrachava and the champion of the same Games in ski freestyle acrobatics Anton Kushnir declared the best athletes of Belarus on the results of a survey of journalists conducted by the newspaper "Sports Panorama".

Unequivocally the best amount of votes gained leading biathlete of the country, three-time champion of the 2014 Olympics Darya Domrachava. Earlier in the history of sovereign Belarus none of the athletes at some major competitions could  climb three times to the highest step of the podium. Resently International Federation of Sports Press (AIPS) nominated Darya Domrachava for the title of the best athletes in the world by journalists.

The second sum won Olympic champion in Sochi in ski acrobatics freestyle Alla Tsuper, and the third - another triumpher of the 2014 Olympics and freestyle acrobat Anton Kushnir, who named the best male athlete of the year in Belarus.

The best coach in 2014 unequivocally named the head coach of the national team of the country freestyle Mikalai Kazeka. Among the best teams, according to journalists, was the national team in rhythmic gymnastics. Among the playing teams the majority of the media voted for men's handball team, which advanced to the final tournament of the World Cup.
