The scientists of Belarusian Academy of Sciences offered to develop a route " Ring of Minsk Tour" to the world hockey championships
Scientists from Center for Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature Research of Belarusian National Academy of Sciences offered developing a route " Ring of Minsk Tour" for the participants and guests of the 78th IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Minsk on May 9-25, 2014.
Considering the busy schedule of the competition and the fact that the championship will be held in Minsk and its surroundings this tour will become the most accessible for tourists.
It is supposed that the historical cities, monuments of military glory, museums and sites of historical and cultural heritage, such as the town Zaslawye, historical and cultural complex "Stalin Line", the ancient settlement on the river Menka, Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Life, Czapski’s estate in the village Pryluki, the museum complex "Dudutki", memorials "Trastyanets" and in the village Studenka, Kupala’s places ("Akopy", "Vyazynka"), ski resorts "Silichy", "Lagojsk" and other objects may be included in the route.
Long-term research in preparation for the Collection of Monuments of History and Culture, a multi-volume edition of "Cities and villages in Belarus" is the scientific basis for the project. The project route is based on innovative developments for the development of local tourism and recreation.
