On October, 4 and 5, III International competitions in sport dancing World Open Minsk 2014 took place in the Palace of Sports.

The competition of the world rankings WDSF World Open Standard & Latin, WDSF Youth Open Standard & Latin, as well as the classification competitions in all age categories were in the program of the tournament. A highly qualified panel of judges from 13 countries evaluated the performances

As co-organizer of the competition Dzmitryi Baravik told, about 900 dancing couples checked in, and it is an indicator of a high level tournament.

"We have brought together representatives from 22 countries, from Canada to South Africa, - he said. - We have very talented coaches and teachers, Belarusian dancers in this type of art and sports are famous on the global dance floor and show great performances not only in Belarus, but also abroad".

According to him, finalists of World and European Championships came in Minsk to the tournament with demonstration performances.
