The second cheese festival was held near Minsk
The second cheese festival was held on June, 14 near Minsk in Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Lifestyle. The holiday, which united 10 Belarusian producers of cheese, caused a stir among the residents of Minsk and its guests despite nasty weather.
Cheese is not only one of the most useful products but also a reason for a good mood. The six-hour marathon of cheese under the open sky included lots of competitions, tasting different sorts of cheeses, master classes in cooking dishes. Everyone could find something interesting for himself.
Active guests could get the title of Cheese Olympic champion during "Olympic lifting of cheese", jumping and running with cheese. Also the rat race passed there, where four-legged participants determined the most delicious cheese.
A particular scene was taken for master classes on cooking various dishes from chefs of Minsk restaurants. Although the holiday was devoted to cheese at this stage it was pushed by pancakes and potato chips.
