He set 135th personal world record during the official celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Institute of border troops. Sitting in the gymnastic splits for 2 minutes Vyachaslau lifted a weight of 24 kg 44 times. His previous record was 43 times.

Haraneka said that the record could not take place because his elbow started to hurt badly for half a minute before the end and he wanted to throw the weight, but endured.

It should be noted that Vyachaslau Haraneka has set many spectacular records since 1991. Maybe the most striking record was set in 2005 when the athlete raised the barrel with the weight of 40 kg during two days. He raised this barrel 6160 times. This achievement remains unbeaten to present days.

According to the athlete, he will try to set a new record on May, 6 - the 90th anniversary of BFSO "Dynamo".
