Documentary film by Anna Eysmont and Natalia Zhdanovich "Salei, which we did not know ..." won the bronze at Baku International festival of sports films.

The film  dedicated to the memory of the legendary hockey player from Belarus Ruslan Salei, who died in September 2011 in a plane crash near Yaroslavl. In the category "Sport and personality" the film won an honorable 3rd place.

The film tells about the life of captain of Belarus, Belarusian most successful player in the strongest league in the world of the NHL. The film’s author Anna Eysmont met during the filming with the family of Ruslan. His  mother Tamara Gavrilovna and sister Angela told about his childhood. His  widow Bettan shared the memories of how Ruslan was a husband and father.

The film contains exclusive footage from the family archive of Salei family, many of whic have personally taken Ruslan, memories of friends and colleagues about a great hockey player. The role of Ruslan was played in the film by his son Alexander.
