Belarusian Uladzimir Svirski Announced for Best Actor at the International Film Festival in Germany

According to the National Film Studio “Belarusfilm”, Belarusian Uladzimir Svirski who played one of the roles in the film “In the fog” was recognized the winner of the Best Actor Award at the XXII International East European Film Festival (Cottbus, Germany). Uladzimir Svirskiy awarded for impressive performing of Suschenya tragic role in motion picture based on the narrative by Vasil Bykau (producer – Siarhei Laznica). “In the fog” is an international project that involved MA.JA.DE Fiction (Germany), GP Cinema Company (Russia), Rija Films (Latvia), Lemming Film (Netherlands) and the TV Channel ZDF/ARTE (Germany), European Cinema Support Fund.
Furthermore, the film “In the fog” was awarded the prize of ecumenic jury.
The International East European Film Festival is being held since 1991. This year 150 movies from 36 countries were introduced in the festival programme.
