Taking into account geographical location, natural, historical and cultural property of Belarus 2014 was declared the Year of hospitality in Belarus in order to develop tourism, create a modern tourist infrastructure.

The Year of hospitality is thought to be able to focus efforts of government bodies, organizations and citizens on the development and effective using of Belarusian tourism potential and organization of a high -level reception of foreign guests who will come to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the liberation from the Nazi invaders and to visit matches of the World hockey championship.
