The company ”Wargaming“ reported that the MMO action game ”World of Tanks“ won the Golden Joystick Awards in the category ”Best Online Game“. Moreover, League of Legends and Dota 2 entered the top-three and got the second and third place respectively.

At previous ceremony the game ”World of Tanks“ won in the category ”Best MMO project of the year“.

The Golden Joystick Awards is the world’s second oldest gaming award ceremony awarding the best home computer and video games of the year. The winners are determined by online voting which involves gamers from around the world. The ceremony usually takes place in a London hotel Westminster Bridge Plaza.
