It is said that the World championship in the Olympic year (e.g. 2006, 2010) attracts less famous hockey players than usual. World championship in Minsk is not an exception. Many players who took part in Olympic games wasn't able to visit Belarusian capital for many reasons.

Nevertheless Ice Hockey World Championship 2014 in Minsk has attracted well-known players and they are showing their skills to the audience

Today we present our top-10 players who are taking part in the World championship.

Scientists from Center for Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature Research of Belarusian National Academy of Sciences offered developing a route " Ring of Minsk Tour" for the participants and guests of the 78th IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Minsk on May 9-25, 2014.

The competition in group exercises in program of all-around ended at the World Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Kiev. The Belarusian team won this competition. 

Melitina Stanyuta won three bronze medals at the World Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Kiev in exercises with the ball, ribbon and all-around.
