Fascists have burnt every house in Khatyn. They also have burnt every inhabitant of the village. They left nothing to remind us about this place. They did the same in 600 villages in Belarus. But how can we see the places that were burnt? Reconstruction would not show us nothing. That’s why there’s nothing in Khatyn that was reconstructed. In this place not far from Minsk you will find only basements of the village and sounds of peal. This place is surrounded by symbols of tragedies and is known as one of the most shocking museum of the WWII.
