Vitsebsk region received a grant of Germane for the development of rural tourism
Vitsebsk region received a grant of the support program of Belarus of German Federal Government for the development of rural tourism. This was announced by the coordinator of the project "Development of rural tourism as one of the main areas of sustainable development of Vitsebsk region," said the consultant of Minsk International Educational Center Aleh Krauchuk.
The project will be implemented by March 2016 and aims to educate the owners agroekoestates of Vitsebsk region, as well as to motivate the members of the regional community development councils of rural tourism. Series of seminars and training events are planned, together with study tours at the best estates and rural clusters of Belarus, as well as a trip to the German village Medevege. Local residents teamed up and created a generic brand of the village, under which they sell their products and services that are environmentally focused.
In addition, at the expense of German fund two regional festivals will be financed and 4 mini-grants for the implementation of the most interesting initiatives estates owners or associations in the field of rural tourism . Also in the urban village Baravuha a large playground in ecological style will be landscaped.
