Sapieha palace in Ruzhany is one of the largest in Belarus magnate residences of XVII-XVIII centuries. Dilapidated walls of the palace are still visible on the highest hill in the south-eastern part of the modern urban settlement Ruzhany.
During the war, the castle suffered from Swedes, then it was destroyed the Confederate troops in 1698. After that, it was restored and rented by Jewish businessmen Pinas. For 30 years, the monumental palace complex was used as a cloth factory.
Ruzhansky palace was burned in 1914, partly renovated in 1930, in 1944 it was destroyed again during the hostilities. Till the XXI century ruins of the main buildings (main and eastern blocks), the arcade and entrance gates remained.
