The final of the competition ”Miss Supranational – 2013“ was held at the Sport’s Palace of Minsk on September, 6. The representative of the Philippines won this annual international beauty contest.

”Miss Supranational“ is in the top 3 of most prestigious international beauty contests. This year the contest attracted record number of participants. Representatives from 83 countries fought for the crown of the most beautiful girl.

Girls of Slavic, European, American, African and Asian appearance tried to conquer the international jury. A record number of beautiful women, spectacular fashion shows, vivid scenery, gorgeous costumes of contestants - the final show lived up to expectations.

In addition to traditional parade in national costumes and evening dresses, contestants appeared on stage in swimsuits three times in the evening.

The show was broadcast in more than 100 countries worldwide. Tickets were sold all over the world. That is why there were a lot of foreign visitors in the hall who came to support the representative of their countries.

Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Australia, Poland, Canada, Thailand, Indonesia, the Virgin Islands, Luxembourg, India, Mexico, Gabon, Myanmar, the Philippines, Russia, Latvia, Turkey, Brazil, Ukraine and Belarus were included in the final twenty!

The winner of the contest became a beauty from the Philippines Mutya Datul. Previously she was awarded with the title ”Miss Personality“. The winner got a crown and 25,000 dollars cash prize.

The Belarusian Ekaterina Buraya ("Miss Supranational - 2012") gave the crown to the winner.

For a long time the contest was held only in Latin America, but in 2009 it moved to Europe. From 2009 to 2012 it was held in Poland and this year - in Minsk.

The other nominations: 1st runner-up - Mexico, 2nd runner-up - Turkey, 3rd runner-up - Indonesia, the 4th runner-up - the Virgin Islands. Miss Supranational Africa - Gabon , Miss Supranational Europe - Belarus , Miss Supranational America - Brazil , Miss Supranational Asia and Oceania - Australia .

Contestants spend three weeks in Belarus. They visited Vitebsk, Brest Fortress, BelAZ and OJSC Krinitsa, and other sightseeings, presented books to the National library of Belarus.
