Large luminous balls were installed in MinskThe center of Minsk has been decorated with large luminous balls for Christmas and New Year. Metal frame was covered with garlands and light snowflakes and benches were installed there. The constructions became good and unusual backdrop for photographs and a new benchmark for meetings.

About 30% of Belarus population (Catholics and Protestants) meet Christmas on December 25 and about 30% of Belarusians (Orthodox) celebrate Christmas on January 7 (according to the Julian calendar).

But the holiday which unites all Belarusians is New Year.
