Apple Festival in Sharkaushchyna district was recognized the best event in event tourism
The festival in Sharkaushchyna district was recognized as the best image event in the field of event tourism in competition in the areas of creative works in marketing areas of the international forum "The image of the Republic of Belarus: create and implement projects." It was correspondent by the Deputy Head of the Department of Education, Sport and Tourism of Sharkaushchyna executive committee Natalia Areshkova.
"Since Belarus has been actively developing event tourism, we have made the object of promoting our traditional small-town festival "The Savior of the Apple Feast Day - the soul piece of Sikora" which takes place in August in the village Alashki, where well-known Belarusian gardener was born and grew up - Ivan Sikora. In many countries apple festivals are held - Sweden, the US, Kazakhstan, France, Australia, Russia, Latvia. Belarus has no brand "Apple" and Sharkaushchyna is an ideal for the embodiment of interesting ideas "- explained Natalia Areshkova.
The village Alashki has the memorial museum of Sikora that collects and stores materials about his scientific activity. On the territory of museum the garden is located. Therefore, representatives of the district festival positioned it as a business card of Sharkaushchyna and most unusual cultural event in the Vitsebsk region in August to attract potential tourists. The judges appreciated the idea of the idea.
About 40 creative works were received by the organizers of the competition from educational institutions, research centers, consulting agencies, web studios, travel agencies, enterprises, executive committees, NGOs and so on.
International Forum "The image of the Republic of Belarus: create and implement projects" was held in Minsk for the fifth time. From 4 to 6 December, the participants interacted and developed new concrete projects for the development of investment, tourism, cities and regions of the country. The forum was organized by the Center for Strategic Development "Marketing Systems". The forum brought together more than 150 participants.
