Tatsiana  Drazdouskaya won the silver at the stage of KM in sailing in Australia The leader of the national team of Belarus in sailing in the Olympic class yachts "Laser Radial" Tatsiana  Drazdouskaya won the silver medal at the World Cup this season, which was held in Melbourne, Australia, said the Belarusian Sailing Federation.

 

According to the results of nine races Tatsiana  Drazdouskaya scored 36 points. She spent all qualifying series very well. After four first races Belarusian held the first position and gave the leader place to the  athlete from Great Britain Alison Young just after the fifth race.


Totaly more than 500 boats and 800 sailors from 33 countries fought for the victory and won prizes in the FA Cup stage in Melbourne.

 

Tatsiana  Drazdouskaya became the second at the World Cup what has allowed Belarus to enter the 4th line the medal standings of the International Sailing Federation (ISAF), which is maintained on the basis of performance of representatives of various countries in the class yacht "Laser Radial" on stages and in the World Cup final. Belgium, Great Britain and China are on the first places. Each of these countries at the moment has one gold medal. In the overall standings of the countries in all classes Belarus occupies 16th place.
