Italy intends to hold in Belarus an exhibition of masterpieces of the Renaissance. It was told by the Ambassador of Italy in Belarus Stefano Bianchi.

The diplomat noted that this project will be prepared in collaboration with the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus and will be held in 2015. "But because we are bound by the obligations with the museum we cannot say more about the project," - he said.

Stefano Bianchi just noticed that it will be an exhibition of paintings of the golden period of Italian art - the Renaissance. "This exhibition is unprecedented. It has never been in Belarus, and even the neighbors, perhaps, cannot boast of the event like this," - said the diplomat.

He also added that since the project will be prepared in collaboration with the Academy of Arts of Perugia, the event will be used as a platform to discuss future projects between the two academies of arts - Italian and Belarusian.
