Belarusian defender signed a three-year contract with "New Jersey Devils"

Belarusian defender Raman Hrabarenka signed a three-year two-way rookie contract with "New Jersey Devils". The salary of Hrabarenka in NHL will be 600 thousand dollars per year. Last season the 20-year-old Belarusian defender (height 188 cm, weight 96 kg) played in the farm club of "New Jersey" "Albany Devils" in AHL where in 34 matches of regular season he got 5 (1+4) points with 18 penalty minutes and plus/minus "+1".
Hrabarenka scored one goal in seven games with a 2-minute penalty and a plus/minus "-1" at the 2013 World Championships in Stockholm in the squad of Belarus national team. He performed 14 shots on target. This is the second figure in the team after Dinamo Minsk defender Pavel Chernook who troubled keepers 15 times at the world championship.
