- Alexandra Belarus is a modern woman, but her family has possessed the secret of magic for centuries. She discovered it after a surprise attack on the street. Her great-grandfather Alexander lived in Belarus and studied there folk magic. Finally Alexandra learns to revive the stones and create gargoyles to protect herself and the city – the author revealed the plot to Onliner.by.

- Why did you name the heroine Belarus?

- This name was chosen because I was looking for a European country with a good folklore. Transylvania is often used in the literature. First of all I would like to use Poland because I am a Pole. But the Poles are too often bullied and joked in the USA, so I chose Belarus. I am not familiar with your country, but I hope the mentioning of it in my books will bring benefit to the country.
